"Dentistry is not just my job – it's my passion. I decided at age 10 to become a dentist and have enjoyed every minute of my career. I love getting to know my patients, listening to their concerns, and helping them to decide on the best dental treatment for them and their families. I am here not only as your dentist but also as your dental educator – to explain treatment, treatment options, ways to prevent tooth decay and loss, and how to maintain a healthy smile. I strive to provide high-quality dental care in a comfortable and relaxed setting."

Veneers are custom-made, thin shells that are designed to cover the front surface of your teeth. They work wonders in improving your smile and enhancing the overall appearance of your teeth.
With proper care, veneers can last for many years. On average, porcelain veneers can stay intact for around 10-15 years, while composite veneers typically last between 5-7 years. Ceramic veneers last the longest at 15-20 years.
While you may need to have some enamel removed from your teeth prior to having the veneers placed, this process is performed under local anesthetic to prevent any discomfort. The veneer placement procedure itself is generally quick and painless. However, some patients may experience slight sensitivity or discomfort during the preparation process. Rest assured, your dentist will prioritize your comfort throughout the treatment.
While natural teeth can be whitened, veneers themselves are stain-resistant and won't undergo the same whitening process. If you're keen on a whiter smile, it's recommended to whiten your natural teeth before getting veneers for the best results.
Taking care of your veneers is quite similar to caring for your natural teeth. Regular brushing and flossing, along with routine dental checkups, are essential. Additionally, it's wise to avoid habits like biting on hard objects or using your teeth to open packages to ensure your veneers last as long as possible.
Veneers can indeed improve the appearance of mildly crooked teeth. However, it's important to note that they are not a substitute for orthodontic treatment. In cases of severe misalignment, orthodontic solutions may be more suitable.
You'll be thrilled to know that veneers are designed to replicate the natural look of teeth. They are custom-made to match the color, shape, and size of your existing teeth, resulting in a seamless and completely natural appearance.
Wondering about your eating habits? Once your veneers are securely bonded, you can enjoy most of your favorite foods without any issues. However, it's advisable to avoid excessively hard or sticky foods that could potentially damage the veneers.
While veneers are a fantastic option for many individuals seeking to enhance their smile, it's crucial to undergo a thorough dental examination to determine your eligibility. Your dentist will discuss alternative treatments if veneers are not the best option for you.
